Your Right to Cancel
When you purchase eligible goods online from The Skin Beauty, you normally have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason.
You must tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after the goods are delivered to you.
After notifying us of your cancellation, you must return the eligible goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision.
Returning an Item
How to Make a Return
1. Contact us at info@theskinbeauty.co.uk and clearly tell us that you wish to cancel or return your order.
2. Please include your name, order number, and the email address used when placing your order.
3. We will provide you with the relevant return instructions and return address.
4. Please package the goods carefully before returning them.
Condition of Returned Products
You may inspect goods to the extent that you would reasonably be able to inspect them in a physical shop.
If goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, and their value has been reduced as a result, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted by law.
Important for Beauty Products
Sealed Health & Hygiene Products
Certain skincare, cosmetics or personal-care products may be supplied with a hygiene or protective seal.
Where a product is sealed and is not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, your change-of-mind cancellation right may be lost once that seal has been broken after delivery.
This exception does not affect your legal rights if a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact The Skin Beauty as soon as reasonably possible.
Please include your order number and, where appropriate, clear photographs showing the product, packaging and any damage.
Your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods are separate from your change-of-mind cancellation rights and are protected by applicable UK consumer law.
Return Postage
If you are returning an eligible item because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to The Skin Beauty, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.
Where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or supplied incorrectly, we will deal with reasonable return costs in accordance with your legal rights.
Refunds
Where you validly exercise your statutory cancellation right, we will refund payments due to you in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
For returned goods, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method has been expressly agreed.
Original Delivery Charges
Where the law requires us to refund the original delivery charge following a cancellation, our obligation is limited to the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method. If you selected a more expensive delivery service, such as express delivery, the additional amount paid for that upgraded service may not be refundable.
Exchanges
We do not currently operate a general exchange service. If you wish to purchase a different product, please return the eligible item in accordance with this policy and place a new order separately.
Sale & Promotional Items
Products purchased during a sale or promotion are subject to the same statutory consumer rights as products purchased at full price.
